Went to this SportsPro shop off Rosemead today to research some Vespas for AdCon2. Pretty cool scooters. In fact, I was told by the sales rep, Justin, that Vespas are the number 1 selling scooters in the world. I was like, “Wow! more than Razors?!”
He looked at me strangely after that.

Just finished a comprehensive biographical exploration of John M. Browning, the genius, prodigy, and inventor of the most modern-day gun mechanisms and the actual guns themselves. Son of Jonathan Browning, blacksmith and gun maker. His crowning achievement reciprocates back to my own cultural heritage as a Filipino. He invented the M1911 .45 Caliber Automatic Pistol, or as famously known as the “Colt .45.” I say that with quotes as there are many a company that have developed their own .45 Cals onto their own specs or have improved on the specs of Browning’s designs. After all, his automatic mechanism is virtually untouched and remains the quintessential firing mechanism of automatic guns.
Initially, I started this research with the intent of finding a way to communicate how design could be “lethal”, literally. As I explore this subject however, I find that I’m increasingly becoming more fascinated with the subject. In some capacity, the idea of guns frightens me and come with a certain stigma of urban gangs and violence–-as it should. But like I said, the more I do research on the life of J.M. Browning and the influence and story behind what transpired in his life, the more the thought of his genius becomes apparent and reflected in his legacy.
I’m not vindicating guns or most of the crazy MFers who use them for purposes ill and otherwise. God knows I don’t own one, yet.
Last scene from “The Last American Virgin”
Saw this story on MSNBC and had to see it for myself. Now you can see it too, cheater.
Farrah Fawcett and Micheal Jackson both died today. =(

There are some of my classmates that would like to regard me as “old.” And truth be told, compared to them I am. What’s amazing to me, however, is how much they don’t know about. Like when I reference some old sitcom from TV, and they look at me like, “Whaaaaaa….?” I laugh.
So I found it amazing tonight as I hung out with my mom and my uncles and aunties. Yes, HUNG OUT (old, remember?), and just generally paid attention to the stories they told. Of course, when my cousins and I were young, we’d do our own thing, so we never paid much attention to why the hell they would laugh so loud. I found out tonight. The whole time I’m just thinking how much my aunts and uncles, (who are not blood related, but aunts and uncles regardless in that “Filipino” kind of way) are so much like my friends and I. Friendship, good ones, are pretty much the same all around. Good laughs, good times, and a vast rainbow of moments. Then, we’re gone. And it’s almost like the moments never were. But our friends will remember us, our families will not forget us.
I love random; its my favorite composition at times. Life is random. Of course, we’d all like to think that there is some sort of meaning in life, and for the most part, we never see the big picture until it presents itself. But when you really think about it, life is just some random as shit happening all at once.
Anyone need some prints? This is my print balance at school. No, not how much I owe.

Nights are bes with buds and bullets. This is RESEARCH. I LOVE what I DO maaaaaan!

I went for a drive last night, looking for a 24-hour laundry mat because some hot, angel of a bitch smashed her stilettos on the door of my washer and dryer as I gyrated orbits right up against her greased lightning–on cocaine.
Incredible.
I ended up finding one–a hop, skip, and a jump away from a smoke shop featuring hand-rolled Cubans and DirecTV.
Score.

Don’t remember if I mention this earlier, but this is a cool site that one of my classmates introduced us to. It’s called Space Collective http://spacecollective.org, and its a brilliant site full of unique ideas, interesting facts, and papers across a gamma of professions.
I found this link about marketing, PR, advertising, and branding that I thought was interesting as well. http://spacecollective.org/StevenBeckmann/4940/Our-Future-Needs-PR
Had THE best meditative rests that I’ve had, EVER. Been meditative more and more since Sun Wukong suggested it. And you know what? I’ve noticed a difference in the way I’ve worked, my attitude towards myself, and just my whole body in general. My heartburn has even gone down significantly whenever I’ve worked out, and my digestion has become quite different. I changed my soundtrack in my weight lifting workouts to a more calmer and subtle meditative harmony compared to the hard rock and hip hop drabble I would have usually ruined my ears with. I just recently downloaded this Tibetan singing bowl soundtrack for meditation and it was the most soothing rest. I feel wide awake right now. While resting, I had a dream about this little thing called love. To be exact, a funny scenario that included this little amazing ditty in particular. What does it mean? Ask the cosmos…

I think I’ve gotten past the point of whining, crying, bitching, moaning, and groaning about the work and sleepless nights at Art Center. I’ve come to accept that no matter how many or how less classes I take in a term there will always be more work to be done as long as the clock keeps ticking while in term.
I took a long drive tonight to clear my head. I don’t know exactly what’s come over me. Perhaps the work this term has gotten the best of me and I’m feeling a little overwhelmed with it all. Six classes is no joke. Really, I just need to get back on track again. I keep looking for something else out there. I’m looking into Facebook and Myspace hoping that there will be some sort of social commentary that will clue me in to something that I’m looking for. Perhaps I check in just to know what’s going on, and in some odd way not lose touch with how society reacts with each other. Perhaps, I’m just lonesome and looking for some entertainment to keep my mind occupied. Or perhaps I’m just full of shit and just scoping out chicks. Whatever the reason, I realize that this has got to tone down a bit.
Wow do you remember these?
And recently, the Ne-Yo got his chance to sing the diddy.
