November 4th 2008

Today I voted. It was a powerful experience to be involved in something greater than me, and that being–my country. I recommend it to anyone for empowerment. Barack Obama won, and has made history becoming the first black President-elect, respectfully. It was a very moving moment for me and my family. I know I will never forget it.

I also presented my mid-term in my Design 2 class today. It felt good to finally get it done. Since last week, I’ve been thinking about several things in my life, primarily about what I’m doing with my education, and my time here at Art Center. And I gotta say, it was a very enriching contemplation. I renewed my vow, and since then have become a little more confident in my work ethic. This week has given me a renewed sense of determination, which I have very desperately needed. Thank God!
