Lou Dorfsman

So I’m doing some research for Mikio’s class on the late Lou Dorfsman, a local to Manhattan and well as respected graphic design and ad man. Lou was regarded in the late 70s and up to mid-80s as the creative force behind CBS, and the famous CBS wall in NYC. He was responsible for that CBS “eye” logo as well as the Didot typeset. He worked for the French-based ad agency Arnold Worldwide.

What’s absolutely NUTS about my assignment is not the fact that I’m finding interesting facts about Lou, but at the fact that I have the article about his passing earlier last year when I was clipping articles for Comm Design 1. Crazy.
