I’m back on track with training the long but I’m a little behind on my mileage cumulatively. Finished the long 12 miles today at Rose Bowl, but skipped Friday’s run due to sickness. Wow, it’s like I ran the half-marathon already! 12.4 miles. Started cramping at the fourth and last time around, at about the 10 mile mark. Cramps erupted throughout so I stretched a bit and slowed down my pace. Luckily, I had some fluid with me so it didn’t wind up so bad. The worse part about it is when my mind wants to go but physically, my body can’t. Patience Ray-Son. Ain’t that a bitch.
Next week 13 miles and 25+ for the week. Can’t wait.
