The last two weeks of Summer

Finals is upon us! The next two weeks are going so much work. I just directed my first photo shoot at school along with my ad partner Max. Pretty cool. Haven’t been blogging much except for the occasional inserts of music here and there. It keeps me sane. Discovered Dali tonight. Weird I never looked at his stuff before. I’m pretty stretched on work. And still smoking cigarettes, which I’m not proud of. But an instructor of mine told me something on Friday. And that was that it’s okay to allow myself (right now) to accept that I need this. Granted of course that as long as I know that’s I’ll eventually quit. She looked at me in the nicest way, and for the first time in a long time, I felt like someone looked at me without judging me. It felt pretty awesome.

Been thinking a lot about what I’m going to do for the rest of my Summer. I came up with two options–-its either take a road trip up the PCH to San Francisco, then East towards Reno, down towards Sequoia, and back to LA; or take a bus or train cross country to NYC then fly back. It’s pretty up in the air. But I’m planning on taking pictures and betting on chance, whether that be people, places, things, and definitely ideas. I’d rather to do this with a partner. But although I have extended a couple of invites, no one seems interested. So I guess I’m just gonna do it alone as usual.

    Hi!

You should make it out to the Salton Sea if you get a chance. It’s awesomely morbid. Also check out Slab City once you are there.
